Tepcomp Group to expand its operations in Estonia
On 1 January 2019, the Kuressaare plant moved to new, larger premises.
At the beginning of the year, Tepcomp OÜ, part of Tepcomp Group Oy, moved to larger premises in Estonia. The new 2,200m2 plant is located in the town of Kuressaare. At the same time, the production line was upgraded with new EKRA screen printer and Siplace pick-and-place machine and all the conveyors were upgraded to handle longer PCBs. The year before, we had purchased a new AOI system for the plant. Today, the plant employs about 60 people; with these changes, we hope to increase our capacity and serve our customers better and with improved quality.
In 2018, the turnover of Tepcomp Group amounted to a little over EUR 13 million. Tepcomp Group employs approx. 120 people. The company’s plants are located in Turku (Finland) and Kuressaare (Estonia). Our administration, procurement, technical service, and product development are located in Turku. Production facilities are in both towns – Turku and Kuressaare. We provide electronics contract manufacturing services to LED electronics, medical, and industrial customers.
