Tepcomp vill ta ett fastare tag om medicinteknik<\/span><\/h2>\n

Den finska kontraktstillverkaren har nyligen certifierats i enlighet med den medicintekniska ISO-standarden 13485:2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finska Tepcomp<\/a> har sedan b\u00f6rjan av fjol\u00e5ret befunnit sig p\u00e5 en expansiv bana. Framf\u00f6r allt den estniska delen av verksamheten i Kuressaare<\/a>, vars fabrik sedan ett \u00e5r tillbaka befinner sig p\u00e5 en ny adress och har mottagit en rad investeringar.<\/p>\n

Det senaste klivet f\u00f6r kontraktstillverkaren<\/a> g\u00e4ller inte enbart produktionsanl\u00e4ggningen i Estland, utan \u00e4ven fabriken i den finska staden \u00c5bo. Fabrikerna har n\u00e4mligen certifierats i enlighet med den medicintekniska ISO-standarden 13485:2016.<\/p>\n

Ett stort kliv fram\u00e5t, men h\u00e4ndelsevis inte ett helt nytt s\u00e5dant, s\u00e4ger Tepcomps vd Pekka Lepp\u00e4l\u00e4 till Evertiq, vars verksamhet under 30 \u00e5rs tid har sysselsatt sig \u00e5t h\u00e4lsoinriktade segment,<\/p>\n

\u2013 Vi har tillverkat produkter \u00e5t ett flertal kunder inom den medicintekniska sektorn tidigare, och har d\u00e5 inte varit i behov av det h\u00e4r certifikatet. Men nu m\u00e4rker vi all oftare att v\u00e5ra \u00e4ldre, nuvarande kunder \u2013 i kombination med att vi har nya kunder i v\u00e5r pipeline \u2013 kr\u00e4ver den ber\u00f6rda certifieringen, s\u00e4ger Pekka Lepp\u00e4l\u00e4 till Evertiq.<\/p>\n

I dag tillverkar man p\u00e5 uppdrag fr\u00e5n lokala kunder, men ocks\u00e5 i Danmark, Sverige, Tyskland, Storbritannien och i Singapore. Och med certifieringen i ryggs\u00e4cken f\u00e5r bolaget desto mer tyngd, som enligt Pekka ska bana v\u00e4g f\u00f6r att tj\u00e4na ett betydligt st\u00f6rre marknadsspektrum, och p\u00e5 sikt g\u00f6ra att omr\u00e5det v\u00e4xer i den operativa verksamheten.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Det medicintekniska segmentet utg\u00f6r i dag 25 procent av v\u00e5r verksamhet. \u00d6ver tid borde den siffran kunna uppg\u00e5 till 50 procent, s\u00e4ger Pekka Lepp\u00e4l\u00e4.<\/p>\n

Enligt Pekka har kunskapen och den produktionsm\u00e4ssiga kapaciteten och kapabiliteten alltid funnits vid de b\u00e5da sajterna. Trots detta ser vd:n ingen som helst anledning att dra i handbromsen r\u00f6rande investeringar.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Vi har i dag ett starkt team med kompetensen som beh\u00f6vs. I dag har totalt 125 personer som arbetar p\u00e5 bolaget, varav 60 \u00e4r stationerade i Estland. Bara d\u00e4r har vi utrymmet att \u00f6ver tid kl\u00e4ttra upp till en personalstyrka p\u00e5 150 personer, s\u00e4ger Pekka Lepp\u00e4l\u00e4.<\/p>\n
