Certificates
The operation of Tepcomp’s production plants in Turku and Estonia is guided by the ISO9001 quality standard and ISO14001 environmental standard. In the production of medical devices, we comply with the ISO 13485 medical devices quality standard.
At the factory in Estonia, products are manufactured in compliance with UL and ENEC certification. UL standards are fire and safety standards for electrical equipment and components intended for North American markets. ENEC is a pan-European quality certificate for electronic equipment.

Our Turku plant is heated with the help of three industrial-grade air to water heat pumps and an efficient heat recovery system.
Production plant in Turku
Tepcomp’s production plant in Turku operates in a high-quality and professional manner through all stages required for production of modern electronics, from SMT placement to mechanical assembly and cable manufacturing. The plant is known for its flexible operation and modern manufacturing technology. Our clients are used to quick and responsive service by the Turku plant.
Our experienced sourcing department assists in selection of components and materials necessary for production and cost-effective procurement thereof on behalf of the customer. Our SMT (Surface Mount Technology) placement lines efficiently carry out surface mounted electronics production, with high quality ensured by modern 3D AOI machine vision equipment. Our services also include mounting of through-hole components, as well as wave and manual soldering processes.
Pursuant to our comprehensive service concept, we will also take care of test equipment design, testing, and final product assembly. In addition, where required, we deliver the customer’s products in sales packages directly to the preferred sales channel.
Tepcomp’s production engineering team is there to support our customers to launch production and production testing of new products. We will promptly manufacture small prototype batches. We assist our customers in possible improvements related to product manufacturability, thereby ensuring efficient and high-quality production of final batches. Our capacity allows for production of even larger batches.

Kuressaare production plant
The modern Tepcomp plant in Kuressaare (Estonia) offers comprehensive electronics contract manufacturing services in a cost-effective manner. The plant’s SMT (Surface Mount Technology) line also allows for production of long PCBs. Our advanced soldering robot ensures persistent quality; in addition, we provide mechanical assembly services. We offer small and medium-sized series in a cost-effective manner.
The fast SMT line of the Kuressaare factory can flexibly and efficiently handle production batches of various sizes, all the way from small quantities to large orders. Quality is assured by state-of-the-art automatic optical inspection; in addition, IPC certified inspectors examine inbound and outbound products.
Our IPC-a-610 certified and trained employees are known for their skills in demanding assembly and soldering works. At the production plant, we can also provide product follow-up inspection services, as well as programming and testing services. We also conduct safety testing and semi-automatic LED product testing for our customers.
Tepcomp offers highly flexible and comprehensive logistics solutions. Our customers’ products are dispatched daily directly to end-users all over the world. The plant’s quality system has been standardized according to ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO14001 certifications and some of the products are manufactured in compliance with UL and ENEC certificates.
At the Kuressaare production plant, we have committed ourselves to responsible development of our operations towards improved eco-friendliness. All waste is sorted and recycled in co-operation with licensed service providers. The plant is heated by one of the most efficient CHP plants in Estonia, which utilises local wood chips. It goes without saying – energy-efficient LED lighting is used throughout the plant.
